I got the idea on how to make this rainbow from DTLK. Since I cut and traces the circles out, I wanted Hailey to cut the straps of paper and glue them on to the correct color. Hailey wasn't very interactive today so she wouldn't do a whole lot.
Here is how our rainbows turned out. Hailey did a good job gluing the half circles on.
We then made a paper quilt using a template from on-line.
The center piece has Hailey's thumb prints. The circle around that has a dark purple shade of Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger stamps. Then the outer circle has a lighter shade of purple ink with Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger stamps.
Due to time restraints, I cut and paste the "quilt" together.
Then we reviewed out Itsy Bitsy Q books we made and the Q Alphabook from Baby Einstein. In the Sunday paper, there was a little article about quilts, so I cut it out to show Hailey other examples of quilts. Also, Darlene made a small quilt for Hailey's dolls, so we quickly talked about that. 
We first practiced making straight lines with the markers to make the feathers.
Hailey started to trace her hand to make the peacock more unique.
Then we used green paint on our thumbs and yellow paint on our pinkies to make the "eyes" of the peacock.
We finished by coloring the peacock's body, hair, and beak with markers.
We read "Hen Lake" by Mary Hane Auch together. It was a little too advance and long for Hailey but I like the pictures and the message. It's about a hen who wants to be a ballerina and a the new peacock the farmer just got was making fun of her and kept telling her that he can do everything better. It has a great lesson for kids (and adults) to learn.
We colored one shape at the same time and talked about colors.
I had Hailey on my lap while I cut and glued my together as a model.
Hailey wanted me to cut out her shapes. After I cut out the shape I pointed out where I put that shape on my owl and where she can put it on her owl. She sometimes said "no" and decided to put it in another spot but at least she understands how to make it look like mine if she wants.
We talked about the circles we used and how "O" is in the shape of a circle. So we read the O Alphabook from Baby Einstein. Then we read "Who Hoots?" by Katie Davis. It's a good book about animal sounds. Hailey didn't get as excited about this as I thought she would. Then we read "White Owl, Barn Owl" by Nicola Davies and illustrated by Michael Foreman. I like the illustrations a lot.

It looked so fun that I had to do one too.
Then we painted a page from "Primary Helper Vol 2" that has ducks, eggs, and a nest.
This would have been a good page for either ducks or eggs to talk about where ducks come from or what happens to the eggs we don't eat.
Hailey did not want to stop painting. So after she fussed about stopping, we read "Are you my Mother" by P.D Eastman. It had a lot of pictures of the bird's nest so I thought it would be a good one.
We started with the Itsy Bitsy Book for the letter M. We reviewed the M-words by looking at my book while I cut hers out. She even helped me color by added more blue to the milk.
Hailey was allowed to use Markers to color the monkey. When we finished one page, I cut it out while she did the next one.
We also talked about facial features while I glued all the pieces together.
YEAH!!!! Here is the completed Monkey Mailbox. To keep the monkey up straight I glued him to a Popsicle stick.
After her nap time, the mail carrier came. Hailey was excited to get the letters in her own mailbox. This letter up above is from her Grampa. He wrote the letter to her in the shape of a M.
I love her cute little face as she looks at the letters.
It was fun to read the letters with her. These will be a great thing to keep and look back at when she can read. I think she will really treasure them.

Hailey did a great job gluing and coloring Bo Peep with crayons.
I put the rest of it together. Hailey likes seeing all the lambs dangling down.
To finish up we read "One Little Lamb" by Elaine Greenstein. I had very short phrases to describe how one little lamb's wool made mittens for a little girl. Hailey liked the pictures. We read it twice.
