B is for Butterfly (Part 2)

Today we did the second half of the "B" activities. First, I pointed out that black and blue start with the letter B and she colored the paper with those markers.
Hailey loves markers and gets very messy with them. She has a black stripe down her arm (that you can't see) from popping the lid off.

Here's my happy boy being patient with mommy as she does Hailey School.
Next we talked about butterfly and beans. She would point to which color bean she wants and where she wants to put the bean and I put a drop of glue there. For the beans, I got a bag of mixed beans (15 different types of beans) and separated them into there own bags.
Here is her finished picture.

We then read "From Egg to Butterfly" by Shannon Zemlicka and "See how they grow: Butterfly" from DK which we got from the library. I wanted "Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle but it was checked out.

To finish school, I tried to do bubbles, but Hailey kept trying to grab them and was very fussy at the end.

*Side note: Hailey would not take her nap today (she cried in her crib for an hour and a half) so she was very upset when she didn't get her way.
